Catalyst is delighted to have won Best Marketing Initiative at the Housebuilder Awards for our ‘Time for a Place of your Own’ campaign.
The Housebuilder Awards are some of the most competitive in the industry, and celebrate the biggest achievements in the property sector over the past 12 months.
Designed to inspire the next generation of first time buyers on to the property ladder, we worked with The Focus Group, a brand, marketing and creative agency, to create the campaign.
Through an innovative TV advert delivered through Sky AdSmart, and accompanying social media activity, the campaign told the story of a first time buyer’s property journey from a teenager to today, encompassing both the highs and the lows, until they arrived in a Catalyst home they could call their own.
Tailored to differing audiences, the advert had two endings which were each served to different households depending on their location, with the character either finding an apartment in London or a family house in the Home Counties.
The campaign drew terrific results, contributing to a 33% month on month increase in web visits and nearly 155,000 people reached on social media.
