Catalyst were delighted to win ‘Best Use of Interactive Tools’ at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2021, celebrating the integration of technology within the home buying journey.
Taking place on Friday 3rd September, the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards recognises companies who have demonstrated their commitment to helping new homeowners step on to the property ladders. Voted for directly by the readers of the magazine, these awards are unique in their endorsement directly from the latest generation of first time buyers.
Winning the inaugural award for ‘Best Use of Interactive Tools’, the judge’s commended the Catalyst sales and marketing team for their “Drive to Digital Strategy”.
Having invested heavily in digital tools throughout 2019/2020, including launching a new digitally optimised website in March 2020, Catalyst was well-prepared to adapt to the challenges of Covid-19.
Already a hub for educational and news content, alongside up-to-date information on their new developments, Catalyst’s website has seen record traffic over the last 18 months. The housing association continued to launch new developments online through the year, whilst capitalising on non-traditional marketing tools to reach buyers digitally. Sky AdSmart television campaigns, influencer activity and extensive video content all helped Catalyst to engage with more customers than ever before, resulting in a record year for sales in 2020/21.
Markus Kendall-Young, Director of Sales and Marketing (London), comments: “Here at Catalyst, we know that buying a property, particularly a first home, can be a daunting process. That’s why we firmly believe in integrating the latest digital innovations wherever we can, to help make our customers’ journeys as smooth as possible. Winning this award is a great accolade – showing the all our hard work and investment in our digital presence has really paid off – as we continue to help more first time buyers than ever make their home ownership dream a reality.”
Catalyst were also delighted to be shortlisted for Best Show Home for The Switch, and Best Unsung Hero for Sales Executive, Jamie Fraser.
